Mr. Sharat Babu is a born problem-solver and self-starter with extensive experience in global procurement of raw materials along with sourcing contracting. This gives him a solid ability to overcome sourcing-related obstacles to ensure timely project/task completion.
He has single-handedly built an enviable database of both domestic and foreign vendors while staying dedicated to building alliances and managing strategic partnerships. He is exceptionally proficient in long-term vendor development and spot procurement with excellent contract negotiation ability to boot. He has successfully developed new vendors/sources for risk mitigation of single-source products at highly competitive rates, thus facilitating quality and cost-based selection.
Always operating with a clear vision in mind, Mr. Sharat Babu’s forte lies in the proactive initiation of cost-improvement projects and risk mitigation through controlled redundancies. His careful and premeditated planning achieves significant savings even while avoiding overstocking through timely forecasting and provisioning actions.
He is backed by strong expertise in commercial and logistics. His multi-faceted talents encompass budget development and fiscal management as well.
